I believe that is double tapping on the fire icon and it will set to auto fire.Correct. Mini-games are the way of the future, I wanna tap and rotate my way through the vaccuum of space! I'm crossing my fingers that other developers will see the potential of Galaxy on Fire, and capitalize on gaming aspects unique to tablets to fill the void (no pun intended). Bethesda (the makers of Morrowind) I've found to be most guilty of this with games like Oblivion and Fallout 3 (I didn't bother going near Skyrim). Not since Morrowind have I played a game in this genre that hasn't felt like a beautiful giant sandbox, with only a bucket and half-inflated soccer ball at my disposal. It does concern me for the free-roaming sandbox style game genre, though. It's definitely worth the money for the effort put into it, and for the amount of time it can potentially occupy you for. I use this game pretty actively to showcase the PlayBook to friends, along woth other apps like Caustic, Pacemaker, Stellarium and Asphalt 6. *Cheers* to another awesome game for the playbook.Welcome aboard! Hope you enjoy the game as much as most of us seem to have, and still are. For the most part ill read through this thread for assistance. I hope its not too late to join the discussion. Gah i havent quite gotten use to the controls as yet.still a bit tricky. Intense Graphics, Well optimized, sound is good, i like the storyline as its progresses. I haven't paid enough attention to figure it out exactly, but they do go away eventually. Anyhoo, they seem to disappear after you quit out of the game, or when enough missions are completed or time goes by or something. I have done this a few times, usually when I pause the game to go do something, get distracted, forget what I was doing, and take a new mission without reading the "Your current mission will be discarded" prompt. If you accept another mission BEFORE making your delivery and completing the previous one, these containers STAY in your cargo hold and cannot be sold or dismounted. When you deliver them to their destination, you get your reward and they are removed. When you dock, you get your reward money and the cabin is removed from your cargo bay.įor cargo shipment missions, the goods are placed in your cargo hold in Secure Containers. That cabin must be returned to the station where you accepted the mission. When you accept Salvage/Rescue missions, the rescued hostage is dragged aboard your ship in a Secured Cabin. Now I have blackhole and I can space jump to distant star systems. I was a bit worried about its less handling compared to the H'soc, but frankly I enjoy flying with it more. Thanks to you guys here, I learnt the need for larger cargo space and the better money making options - trading. Well it took me two turns, because in the constant abuse by the Voids I kept sucking their remains, and filled up my precious cargo space. I could instantly afford a much much better space ship, and that was the H'soc (impressive armor and handling), which lasted me quite a long time, I even mined the 50t Void crystals with it. I ran back to the nearest station available with my fortune in the ship. The cargo was 20t can't remember the name cannon. I figured out it would took me ages to gather enough money just from mining, so I equipped her with the best toys I could afford and went on my first "destroy an illegal transport" mission. I was just enough annoyed with Bettys overall performance and was mining gold and everything what paid well and drooled over the better ships. I think I was very lucky at the beginning. Next Void X (when I get round to doing all that mining to get all the gold medals).I had Betty => H'soc => Veteran. Next was H'soc before a Nuyang II, Veteran and finally a Mantis (although have a Cormorant for hauling cargo). So, I'm curious, what ship progression did/are people using? I went from Betty to a Hiro, then on to a Type 43.
